1. Strategic Consulting for Social Change and Philanthropy
I have partnered with over 300 organizations to design and facilitate professional development, program design (such as immersive learning journeys), trauma-informed strategy or repair sessions, and affinity group or alumni engagement programs. My work is recognized for its intentionality, transparency, and measurable impact.
2. Trauma-Informed Facilitation & Learning or Healing Journeys
Most difficult or troubling behavior has its roots in unhealed harm. We help individuals and groups notice where those dynamics are and how we begin and continue to heal that harm, targeting oppression while recognizing the inherent goodness in all people.
I design and lead healing journeys and leadership programs that center emotional regulation, conflict management, and collective resilience. My approach is grounded in practical, yet profound frameworks that help groups more efficiently and skillfully move through distress to growth and intentional action.
3. Collaborative Program Design
I co-create agendas, resources, and follow-up strategies with clients, ensuring every session is tailored to the group’s evolving needs. For example, with one philanthropic client, I worked closely with stakeholders and collaboratively designed a program for a specific targeted constituency regarding a highly-charged and complex subject. I proposed a purposeful, structured, and highly strategic, yet nuanced roadmap for the high-stakes session. It offered both validation and productive, dignified redirection toward greater mindfulness and discernment. Throughout the planning process up through the meeting itself, I remained flexible to adjust content and flow in response to unfolding current events and participant feedback.
4. Culturally Responsive & Inclusive Practice
I am adept at holding space for complex, multi-layered group dynamics and supporting both individual and collective transformation. My consulting is informed by my atypically high level of intercultural competence (I score in the top 6% internationally), my professional grassroots to executive expertise, and my lived experience as a Black, interspiritual Jewish leader with a mixed class background and almost 15 years of experience as a counter-oppressive trauma peer counselor.
