The Solution is Closer Than You Think!: "Problem Energy" vs. "Solution Energy"

This is has become one of my not-so-secret secret strategies. When I first heard it, I was skeptical to say the least, but after trying it, I’ve learned it consistently works like a charm. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

The next time you're finding yourself in the midst of a challenge remember: the energy of the solution is different than the energy of the problem. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

If you can't seem to find a solution, stop, take a deep breath (maybe a few) and imagine finding the solution. How would you feel? Relief? Relaxation? Confidence? Joy? Peacefulness? ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

Then make an effort to begin to embody that emotion now, in the present moment. If you can't, remember a time or thought that elicits that feeling in you. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

When my team members and I do this, we identify a fantastic solution much faster. Often, almost immediately. Or, if not the solution, the first few steps in that direction. :) ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Another option is to say or think, "How does this further clarify what I want?" And place your attention and effort on bringing about your desired result, rather than remaining mired in the sunken place of overwhelm and trouble. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣
