The Solution is Closer Than You Think!: "Problem Energy" vs. "Solution Energy"
This is has become one of my not-so-secret secret strategies. When I first heard it, I was skeptical to say the least, but after trying it, I’ve learned it consistently works like a charm.
The next time you're finding yourself in the midst of a challenge remember: the energy of the solution is different than the energy of the problem.
If you can't seem to find a solution, stop, take a deep breath (maybe a few) and imagine finding the solution. How would you feel? Relief? Relaxation? Confidence? Joy? Peacefulness?
Then make an effort to begin to embody that emotion now, in the present moment. If you can't, remember a time or thought that elicits that feeling in you.
When my team members and I do this, we identify a fantastic solution much faster. Often, almost immediately. Or, if not the solution, the first few steps in that direction. :)
Another option is to say or think, "How does this further clarify what I want?" And place your attention and effort on bringing about your desired result, rather than remaining mired in the sunken place of overwhelm and trouble.
